Day 01: Delhi-Guwahati-Tezpur
Meet on arrival and drive to Tezpur – City of Blood. Tezpur is also considered the cultural capital of Assam. The town has produced many stalwarts such as Dr. Bhupen Hazarika & the former speaker of the Indian Parliament, Somnath Chatterjee. Late afternoon visit Mahabhairab Temple is believed to have been built by King Banasura himself. The Puranas state that Banasura was the first person to worship the linga form of Shiva. The Presiding deity, Mahabhairab, is a frightful embodiment of Shiva. Overnight stay in Tezpur.
Day 02: Tezpur - Ziro
Early morning drive to Ziro en-route visit of Nishi Villages. Overnight stay in Ziro.
Day 03: Ziro
Full day to visit Hong & Hari Village of the Apatanis. Overnight stay in hotel.
Day 04: Ziro-Majuli
After breakfast drive to Dhunaguri Ghat & take a ferry to cross Brahmaputra and transfer to Pahumara Ghat in the Majuli Island from where you will be moved to your resort at Majuli. Enjoy the villages of Missing Tribe on the way that live on this island. Overnight stay in the Lodge.
Day 05: Majuli-Kaziranga
Early morning for the Vaishnavite Monasteries (Locally known as Satras). Visit to Uttar Kamalabri & Auniati Satra . Also to the popular Mask Making Chamuguri Satra used to epic play. Later take the return boat to Neemati ghat and drive on to Kaziranga National Park. Overnight stay in Kaziranga National Park resort.
Day 06: Kaziranga
Morning after breakfast full day sightseeing inside the park. Overnight stay at Kaziranga resort.
MP NOTE: Kaziranga National Park is closed from 01st May TILL 31st Oct every year. Jeep Safari Timings: Morning Safari starts from 07.00 am till 09.30 am for 02 hours. Afternoon Safari starts from 01.30 pm till 03.30 pm for 02 hours. Elephant Safari Timings: Central Zone of the park at 05.30 am and at 06.30 am for 40 minutes respectively.
Day 07: Kaziranga-Sibsagar
Morning drive to Sibsagar enroute stops over for Snaps at a Tea Garden. Overnight stay at Sivsagar.
Day 08: Sibsagar-Mon
Early morning start your drive to Mon for 5-6 hours. After going through checking formalities at the border of Nagaland, we enter the state. Later proceed to Mon for overnight.
Day 09: Mon
Morning will go for Longwa & Hompui Villages. Overnight stay at Mon.
Day 10: Mon-Dibrugarh
Morning drive to Dibrugarh . Enroute visit of a Konyak Village. Later proceed to Dibrugarh for overnight stay.
Day 11: Dibrugarh-Delhi
Morning visit a tea estate. Later at appropriate time transfer to the airport to catch flight to Delhi.
